I recently visited this charming pub with my family, and I was truly impressed by the experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and a friendly smile from the bartender. The decor feels very homely, and I appreciated the attention to detail with the vintage-style furniture. We decided to try a few dishes from the menu, and I must say, the fish and chips were outstanding! The batter was light and crispy, and the fish was perfectly cooked. My partner enjoyed the steak pie, which he claimed was one of the best he’d ever had. The only feedback I’d offer is that it could benefit from a few more vegetarian options on the menu, as my sister struggled to find something that suited her. Nevertheless, the food was delicious, and the kids loved the homemade desserts – the chocolate brownie was a particular hit! Overall, it was a lovely family evening, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal and a friendly environment. We’ll definitely be back soon!

What a gem of a place! I went to this pub with a few colleagues after work, and it turned into one of the best nights I've had in a while. The drinks menu is extensive, with a variety of beers, wines, and cocktails to choose from. I was particularly impressed by the craft gin selection – I tried one with a twist of cucumber and it was absolutely refreshing! The atmosphere was buzzing, but it still felt relaxed enough to have a good chat. We also shared a few platters, and I must say that the homemade scotch eggs were a highlight! The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The only downside was that it took a while for our food to arrive, but with such a busy pub, it was understandable. Overall, I left with a smile on my face and plans to return soon!

I had a delightful evening at this local pub. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends. We were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the selection of ales they had on tap – I tried the local brew recommended by our server, and it did not disappoint! The interior boasts a charming rustic decor that adds to the character of the place. The only minor downside was that the seating could be a bit cramped, especially later in the evening when it gets busier. However, the vibrant energy made it worth it. We also ordered some bar snacks, which were surprisingly tasty, particularly the loaded nachos. Overall, I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. A lovely spot for a casual night out!
